File due to increase will power of officers, employees’ wish for salary increase pending for years fulfilled

Due to the fruitful efforts of BKTC President Ajendra Ajay, even before the opening of the doors of the Char Dhams, the employees’ demand for salary increase, pending for years, has been fulfilled. In the matter of salary hike of about 150 temporary workers pending for the last few years, the issue of order within 24 to 48 hours of the letter, is no less than a surprise in the government process. Let me tell you that in July 2010, I had to go to Gopeshwar for newspaper work. Night rest happened in Dharam Shala Chamoli of Mandir Committee, after taking morning bath, it was heard on my ear that now go to Badrinath Dham. I had 700 rupees in my pocket at Badrinath Dham. Arrived there, asked for money from home, after staying for a long time, I thought, why did God call us for all kinds of thoughts. After all, seeing God in the temple, it seemed that God wanted to say something about the arrangement here. Will work Then it came to mind that as a journalist, Bhagwan ji has asked to publish to rectify the shortcomings here. Pravesh Dandriyal was the Chief Executive Officer there. The work of improving the system was done during the tenure of BD Singh Chief Executive Officer. And the speed is value. Hills echoes have also left no stone unturned to serve God and increase the income of the temple. Personality guidance is what enhances the will power to work in the board.

Usually, everyone will come across the bitter truth that any file in government functioning is bound to take a long time to reach its conclusion. But the management system of BKTC has changed a lot since Ajendra Ajay took over as the chairman. This is a hymn of it.

According to sources, as soon as it came to the notice of Ajendra that the temporary employees working on fixed wages in BKTC, due to increase in salary at regular intervals for the last few years, are pending. No decision could be taken regarding the formation of Devasthanam Board and the salary increase of these employees due to the Kovid period.

Ajendra immediately sought a report from Shri Kedarnath Adhishthan and Shri Badrinath Adhishthan under BKTC regarding the list of personnel, salary payable to them and additional expenditure load. As soon as the report was received, he discussed with the Chief Executive Officer BD Singh and instructed to prepare and present the file in front of him on the same day.

On this, a file was prepared from both the establishments of BKTC on the same day and sent through online medium for the approval of the chairman. The Speaker approved the file on the same day and directed to issue the order. After the signature of the chairman, both the establishments issued written orders for increment of about one hundred and fifty non-volatile wage workers till the next morning.

It may be mentioned that the doors of Shri Badrinath and Shri Kedarnath are opening in the first week of May. Considering the possibility of huge rush of devotees this year, tremendous pressure of the yatra is going to fall on BKTC. Therefore, Ajendra decided that this important problem of the employees should be dealt with on a war footing. After this decision, there is a wave of happiness among the employees of BKTC. The employees are expressing their gratitude to the BKTC President.

Since assuming the charge of BKTC President, Ajendra has been continuously engaged in taking many big decisions. To make the permanent employees of BKTC a golden card for health facilities, he passed a resolution in the board meeting and immediately sent it to the state health authority. Talking to the Chief Executive Officer of the authority, he asked to quickly make golden cards of the employees. It is expected that soon the permanent employees of BKTC will also get the benefit of Golden Card like other government employees.

Ajendra is engaged in efforts to give a professional look to BKTC. A few months back, he conducted a three-day refresher course for the managers of BKTC rest houses and the employees working as front line workers in temples. This course was conducted in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality, Garhwal Central University, Srinagar, in which the employees were taught the tricks of professionalism and hospitality by experts.
