Foot bridge over Nayar river shed due to heavy rains, many villages affected

Presentation of e-FIR portal being made under CCTNS was given before the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that simplification, solution, disposal and satisfaction is the basic mantra of the government. The system should be such that the public can get their grievances redressed in the easiest way. The Chief Minister said that e-FIR would bring great convenience to the common man. One will not have to worry about registering an FIR. The e-FIRs should be reviewed regularly by the higher authorities. The Chief Minister said that there is a need to increase the use of modern technology in policing. Drone technology should also be used. The Chief Minister directed to organize meetings on various points related to police training, modernization and police reforms. The Chief Minister said that necessary provisions need to be made to prevent false FIRs. A committee should be formed to make suggestions in this regard. The CM was told that the notification for e-FIR is yet to be issued. Initially, it will include FIR in respect of vehicle theft and missing mobiles and items. Virtual police station will be set up in e-FIR. Whatever e-FIR is done, it will go to this virtual police station. The complainant will also get its receipt. Here it will be tested and sent to the concerned police station for necessary action. The e-FIR portal will also be linked to the Devbhoomi mobile app.
