Camps should be organized in the districts so that the public can get the benefits of the welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments

Dehradun, Regular multipurpose camps should be organized in all the districts so that common people get full benefit of the public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government. It should be ensured that most of the public problems are resolved on the spot. To prevent corruption, boards of toll free number 1064 will be put up in all offices, no kind of negligence will be tolerated in this. Regular reports should be taken from the vigilance on the action taken on all the complaints related to corruption received by the vigilance. The Chief Minister instructed all the SSPs that the matters related to deliberations at the district level, pending for more than one year, should be disposed of within three months by running a campaign.

It should be ensured that there is speedy disposal of matters related to deliberations. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami gave these instructions through virtual medium to all the District Magistrates and SSPs during the first review meeting of the Program Implementation Department at the Secretariat.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed in the meeting that how many times in a month public representatives and officers are visiting the chaupals of gram sabhas. The Program Implementation Department should also keep complete updates about this. The Chief Minister directed all the District Magistrates to visit Gram Sabha Chaupals regularly and also send other district level officers.

Send monthly report of village visits, monthly report of BDC and Tehsil day and complaints received in them and regular report of action taken for their disposal to Program Implementation Department. The Chief Minister gave strict instructions that action should be taken against public representatives and officials who do not receive calls from common people to redress public problems. He said that if for some reason the officers are not able to receive the phone, then they must call back later. The Chief Minister said that the Commissioners of Garhwal and Kumaon should conduct regular reviews in their divisions for quick diagnosis of public problems and successful implementation of all the schemes being run by the government.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed all the District Magistrates that the rainy season is about to begin. All the District Magistrates should make a complete action plan from now itself to solve the areas where there is water logging and there are possibilities of debris coming. In view of the rainy season, keep all the officers on alert mode. District officers should also hold a review meeting of the income-expenditure in the districts every month. Regular review of the progress in the districts should be sent on the announcements of the Chief Minister. The long-term plans on which work is being done in the districts should be expedited. Urgent tasks should be completed in a timely manner.

Special care should be taken to ensure that the condition of the roads is correct everywhere. If there is any delay in the important projects on which work is being done in the districts, then the District Magistrate should immediately inform the government about it. The works of Jal Jeevan Mission should be expedited in all the districts. The Chief Minister instructed the District Magistrates that complete preparations should be made from now itself to avoid diseases like dengue and malaria.
