Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (R) participated as the chief guest in the 10th convocation ceremony of ICFAI University, Dehradun on Tuesday. In the convocation ceremony, he awarded degrees to 586 passing students and medals to 28 best performing students.

In his address, the Governor congratulated the passed out students and congratulated them for their bright future. He said that India’s youth power is our biggest strength. Our country has the highest youth power in the world. The youth will have to understand their responsibilities and make an important contribution in building the best India. He said that in this era of Amritkaal, the successes of the youth will increase the pride of the country and the state.
The Governor called upon the students to always help the deprived and backward class people in the society. Understand your responsibility towards society and nation. All of you students are an inspiration to others as leaders. May your resolutions be such that they can be useful for the progress and prosperity of the country. He said that we should try to bring positive change in the society through innovation and research development in every field.
In the convocation ceremony, Chancellor of ICFAI University, Dr. Uday B Desai congratulated and congratulated all the degree holders. He said that climate change is a serious challenge for all of us, which needs to be considered seriously by all to deal with its threats. Vice Chancellor Dr. Ramkaran Singh told about the
achievements of the university. University Registrar Dr. RC Ramola thanked the people present at the convocation ceremony. Heads of departments, teachers and students of various departments of the university were present on this occasion.
