Dehradun,  Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi, taking cognizance of various public problems including dengue control in Kumaon division, condition of health services in hospitals, relief work after landslide situation in Nainital area, gave important instructions to the concerned officers.

*Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi has instructed the DM and CMs of Kumaon region, especially Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Almora, Champawat and Bageshwar districts, to take immediate action with effective coordination for prevention and prevention of dengue.

Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi has instructed the DM and CMs of Kumaon region, especially Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Almora, Champawat and Bageshwar districts, to take immediate action with effective coordination for prevention and prevention of dengue. During the review meeting at the Secretariat, Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi took cognizance of various public problems including dengue control in Kumaon division, condition of health services in hospitals, relief work after landslide situation in Nainital area and informed the concerned officers. Gave important instructions. ACS said that the administration will have to work with constant vigilance to prevent dengue. There is no shortage of blood banks in the state. 81 percent of dengue patients have recovered in the state. Adequate quantity of blood and platelets are available in the blood banks of the state. He has also instructed all the CMOs to continuously inspect the district hospitals and check the arrangements and ensure cleanliness, fogging, availability of adequate quantity of ELISA test kits and availability of adequate dengue wards in the hospitals in the district.

During the meeting, detailed information was taken by ACS Mrs. Radha Raturi about the relief work done after the recent landslide incidents in Nainital. He directed to ensure all necessary facilities for the affected families in the relief camps. Along with this, ACS has instructed the Public Works Department to take immediate action to make the roads of the area pothole free. He has also given instructions to ensure adequate availability of essential health services in hospitals in Kumaon division. ACS has instructed the district administration to take immediate action to supply adequate drinking water and electricity to solve the problems related to drinking water and electricity in Almora.

Additional Secretary Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Director General Information Banshidhar Tiwari and Kumaon Division Commissioner Deepak Rawat and all the District Magistrates were present in the meeting through virtual medium.
