Work on the grandeur of 16 temples identified under the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission should be expedited; Chief Minister
The work being done for the grandeur of the 16 temples identified in the first phase under the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission should be expedited. Along with better traffic facilities in the routes of these temples, whatever other development has to be done, it should be completed in a well-planned manner with time boundness. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami gave these instructions to the officials during the meeting regarding Mansakhand Mandir Mala Mission at the Chief Minister’s residence. The Chief Minister said that better arrangements for hotels, home stays etc. would also have to be made for the devotees to stay around these temples. The Chief Minister said that whatever work is being done under the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission, should be done keeping in mind the expected number of devotees visiting these religious places in 20 to 25 years.
The Chief Minister said that the temples which are being developed under the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission, continuous work will be done in this direction to provide better facilities for the devotees to visit. For this, road connectivity will be further strengthened. He directed the officials of the Public Works Department to speed up the ongoing work of road widening, improvement and asphalting for the Manaskhand Corridor.

In which Jageshwar Mahadev Temple in district Almora, Chitai Golu Temple, Suryadev Temple Katarmal, Kasar Devi Temple, Nanda Devi Temple, Patal Bhuvaneshwar Temple in Pithoragarh District, Haat Kalika Temple, Bagnath Temple in District Bageshwar, Baijnath Temple, Patal Rudreshwar in District Champawat, Maa Purnagiri Temple, Maa Barahi Devi Temple, Baleshwar Temple, Naina Devi Temple in Nainital District, Kainchidham Temple and Chaitidham Temple in Udhamsinghnagar district are included.
In the meeting, Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu, Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Shailesh Bagoli Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Director General Information Banshidhar Tiwari and officers of Public Works Department were present
