Dehradun, Taking seriously the allegations made by Swami Shivanand Saraswati, the founder of Matrisadan, Haridwar, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh has constituted the SIT. After investigating the entire episode, the report will be submitted within seven days. Kankhal police station had detained two youths in the said episode. One youth was mentally ill and another youth was also challaned for breach of peace. The operator of the ashram had released the woman before the arrival of the police.
Taking cognizance of the press conference held on September 2 regarding the conspiracy against the ashram of Swami Shivanand Saraswati, the founder of Matrisadan Ashram, SSP Ajay Singh has constituted the SIT to investigate the matter. SP Crime Rekha Yadav has been made in-charge of SIT. Apart from this, the team includes CO City Juhi Manral, LIU Inspector Manoj Bhardwaj, Kankhal police station in-charge Nitesh Sharma and two constables of Criminal Intelligence Unit. The SIT will investigate the allegations made by Matrisadan founder Shivanand Saraswati in the press conference. After investigating the entire episode, the report will be submitted within seven days. It is noteworthy that in the CCTV footage of Matrisadan Ashram, two unidentified youths and a woman were seen inside the ashram. The founder of the ashram called it a conspiracy. After investigating the case, the Kankhal police station, after investigating on the basis of the video, detained two youths. One youth from Bihar was found to be mentally ill while the other youth from Jagjitpur was found to be a buffalo herder. No information was available about the woman. After questioning, the operators of Matrisadan released the woman before the arrival of the police. SIT will now investigate the entire episode and submit the report in seven days.
