Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebrated with pomp in Shri Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham

Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Chamoli. Shri Krishna Janmashtami is being celebrated in Shri Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham today on Wednesday, today after Janmashtami fast, Lord Krishna will be born at midnight.

After some preparations for the birth anniversary, Shri Badrinath temple will be closed at 2 pm. : Tomorrow the temple will open at 6 am instead of 4.30 am and Abhishek Puja will start from 6.15 am.
While giving the information, BKTC media in-charge Dr. Harish Gaur said that the birth anniversary will be celebrated on Thursday, September 7, in which the temple committee and pilgrims will actively participate. President of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) Ajendra Ajay has given best wishes for Janmashtami festival. On the other hand, Joint Secretary of Shri Kedarnath Utthan Charitable Trust / Chief Executive Officer of BKTC Yogendra Singh said that on the occasion of Janmashtami, special prayers will be offered in the temples. Extensive preparations have been made by the temple committee for Janmashtami today.The sanctum sanctorum and premises of Shri Badrinath temple have been decorated.Thousands of pilgrims have reached Shri Badrinath Dham since Tuesday in view of Janmashtami.
