Dehradun. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today announced to make the Martyr Memorial located at Rampur Tiraha the center of the native culture of Uttarakhand. He said that this martyr’s memorial is in Uttar Pradesh, but there is definitely demarcation of boundaries between Muzaffarnagar and Uttarakhand, but there is no delineation of hearts. He said that every year we reach Rampur Tiraha to pay tribute to our sacrificial state agitators. Said that on this very day, plans are being made to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri in a big way. He paid tribute to the martyrs of Uttarakhand by taking their names.

After this he said that the deep wound caused by the Rampur Tirahe incident to the agitators for the Uttarakhand state movement can never be compensated. Union Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt, while paying tribute to the martyred state agitators, said that it was because of the sacrifice of our martyred agitators that we got the state of Uttarakhand.
