The Chief Minister listened to the 105th edition of the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat program with students at DAV PG College, Karanpur, Dehradun.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to the 105th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program at D.A.V PG College. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the work of setting up the smart library of DAV PG College.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat is a program through which the commendable work being done by people under normal circumstances in different areas of the country is brought forward. This also inspires other people to work in different fields. The Prime Minister mentioned the unique horse library started by the youth of Nainital for children. Through which, apart from school books, children living in 12 inaccessible villages of Nainital district are also getting to read ‘poems’, ‘stories’ and ‘moral education’ books. The children are liking this initiative very much.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is progressing rapidly in every field. He said that many works are being done under the leadership of the Prime Minister for the upliftment of mother power in the country. The bill for 33 percent reservation for women in Lok Sabha and Legislative Assemblies has been passed in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. In the state too, work is being done rapidly towards women empowerment. A provision of 30 percent horizontal reservation was made for women in government jobs. To ensure that all competitive examinations in the state are conducted with complete transparency, a strict anti-copying law has been brought. The state is moving rapidly towards implementing equal civil rights.
