We are all fortunate that we are voting for a Chief Minister. The demands we have put in front of them, the CM is serious about them. He said that we feel proud when the Chief Minister appears in his government and non-government programs saying that I am the son of an ex-serviceman. He said that the way military is being created in Uttarakhand according to our demand for military Dham. The ex-servicemen said that all of us have stood on the front for the massive victory of Pushkar Singh Dhami and this victory is dedicated to him on behalf of the soldiers.
He said that in November last year in the state, the BJP government had announced to build a ‘Sainya Dham’ in the memory of the martyrs in Dehradun. For this, ‘Shaheed Samman Yatra’ was also organized by the BJP family to bring sweets from the homes of 1,734 across the state. The foundation stone of this ‘Sainya Dham’ was laid by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh himself on December 15 last year and he had also announced that the memorial would be named after the late General Bipin Rawat. Who will always be devoted to the honor of the soldiers.
Colonel Rawat said that the state of Uttarakhand is a state connected by international borders. He said that today a large number of roads and bridges have been built in the border areas, which have facilitated the movement of border posts.
He said that at present, the Central Government is working in complete unison with the Army for the interests of the soldiers, ex-servicemen and their families. As a result, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the army has been given a free hand to deal with terrorism.
All the retired officers present in the meeting including Colonel Rajiv Rawat were welcomed by all the ex-servicemen. A large number of ex-servicemen including Squadron Leader MC Sharma, Captain Bhairav ​​Dutt, Lieutenant Keshav Dutt Upreti, Subedar Santosh Singh Deo, Naik Kundan Chilwal were present on the occasion.
