Taking a major decision in the interest of the workers, the temple committee has sent a proposal to the government to increase the honorarium of 400 temporary employees on the lines of sub-level and EPF facility will also be made available to temporary employees.

In view of the huge number of pilgrims in Shri Kedarnath Dham, it was agreed to send a proposal to the Government for the creation of the post of Additional Chief Executive Officer. Efforts are being made to build a security wall at Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath, to provide group insurance facility to the employees of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee keeping in view the health and risk factors of State Bank of India. Indian Global Foundation to provide Yatri Rest House at Badrinath Dham.
