campaign by monitoring the spread and larvae of dengue mosquito. In the campaign, the team inspected houses/establishments, distributed publicity material, created awareness among people about dengue through fogging and loudspeakers. If larvae are found during inspection, the careless people concerned are being challaned and fined.
Under the campaign, today in Ward No. 94 Natthanpur, Assistant Director/District Information Officer and District Malaria Officer, Dengue Monitoring Nodal Medical Officer, jointly with the team members, conducted an intensive awareness campaign with loudspeakers and publicity material in Upper Natthanpur and Lower Natthanpur. . When the team found larvae during the campaign, challan was issued to four people and a total fine of Rs 3000 was collected. Also, for the control and prevention of dengue, the team is making the concerned people aware about dengue mosquitoes by dumping the water collected on utensils etc. in the houses/establishments and premises.

During the inspection, restaurant operator Saurabh was fined Rs 500 when larvae were found in the water stored in the tray behind the fridge in the fast food centre. A fine of Rs 500 was levied when larvae were found in the water stored in the urn of a puja material seller. In Doon Sanitary School, water was collected in a small container in the garden in which larvae were found, on which a fine of Rs 1,000 was levied on the school principal/director. Similarly, when larvae were found in the water on a cut plastic bottle hung in Doon Bright School, a fine of Rs 1,000 was imposed on the school director. Fogging campaign was conducted in the entire area of ​​the ward by the Municipal Corporation team. On suspicion of presence of larvae in other houses, a warning was given that if larvae are found, fine action will be taken.
District Magistrate Mrs. Sonika informed that the public is being made aware to take precautions along with the campaign for effective prevention of dengue. For dengue control, work is being done by the district administration, municipal corporation, health department and all other departments for dengue control and prevention. He said that public participation is necessary to control dengue.
On this occasion, Assistant Director/District Information Officer BC Negi, Dengue Monitoring Nodal Medical Officer Dr. Pradeep Rana, District Dengue Malaria Officer Subhash Joshi, Sanitary Supervisor Anant Vibhor etc. were present.
