Mussoorie: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressing the closing session of Sashakt Uttarakhand/2025 Chitan Shivir at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administration Academy, Mussoorie on Thursday said that the last three days to make Uttarakhand the leading state of the country in every sector by The brainstorming that took place will have pleasant results in the future. He said it was good to see the presentation of the roadmap being prepared by the authorities for the development of the state. The authorities have worked hard on matters of state interest. He said that all the suggestions made in the reflection camp would be brought into the action plan. Important suggestions will also be brought to the Cabinet. The Chief Minister said that we have to move forward with the mantra of simplification, solution and disposal. He said that development of villages is essential for the overall development of the state. The Chief Minister said that people’s representatives and officials should set up chaupal in villages to listen to people’s problems so that they could be solved quickly.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that many works are being done in the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister is always concerned about the development of Uttarakhand. Work is underway on Chardham All Weather Road, Parvatmala, expansion of air services, Rishikesh Karnaprayag railway line, Kedarnath reconstruction, Badrinath Master Plan. We have been given the gift of ropeways of Kedarnath and Hemkund. He said that as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, he has some points to put before the Vice-Chairman of the Policy Commission. Hopefully the policy commission will support our expectations. The Chief Minister said that all District Collectors should ensure expeditious implementation of flagship programs conducted by the Central Government under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the Chief Secretary to ensure that the problems of the people are resolved expeditiously. Problems that can be solved at tehsil or district level should not unnecessarily reach the government, ministers and chief ministers. The responsibility of the authorities should be determined for this. With the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, we have to move forward with the theme of ‘Team Uttarakhand’ He said that officers who do good work should be encouraged. Arrangements should be made to give excellence awards for this. The Chief Minister said that an attempt would be made to hold such an event again in the next six months. He directed the officers to focus on solving the problems of the people in a simple manner as a common person would think. It is also good initiative that that junior officers were giving presentations and seniors were asking questions.

Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal said that the brainstorming by experts and workers in various fields during the three-day think tank would yield pleasant results in the future. He said efforts should be made to reduce revenue expenditure. Sources of income in the state must be increased. The state government is paying special attention to planned development of hilly areas along with urban areas for the overall development of the state. He said that special attention should be given to the centrally sponsored schemes. The funds received from the Center for various works and schemes should be spent in a planned manner and in a timely manner. We have to make more efforts towards revenue growth.

Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj said that such reflection camps should be held from time to time. So that further plans can be made in the interest of the state. He said that efforts should be made towards simplification of processes for public convenience. More efforts should be made to provide every possible facility to the devotees during the Chardham Yatra. Winter travel in the state will also have to be promoted. The state also has immense potential in the field of adventure tourism. Promoting tourism will boost the economy of the state. He said that more efforts are needed to preserve the culture of Uttarakhand. We have to make more efforts towards empowering panchayats.

Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that all departments have to work in coordination to play an important role in the development of the state through their departments by the time the state celebrates its Silver Jubilee in 2025. He said he was fortunate to have been given the responsibility of empowering Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan in the state. He said there needs to be more focus on quality rather than figures in products. Officials should ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the beneficiaries on time.

Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the think tank for 2025 will help the state to become a leader in every field. Such reflection camps should be held departmentally. We have to think in this direction to give more powers to the district collectors. Officers who do good work should be appreciated. “By 2025, we have to work on five resolutions. Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal said that proper coordination between the executive and legislature is essential for the overall development of the state. Special attention must be paid to community participation to save forests and enhance people’s livelihoods. Efforts are being made to increase the livelihood of the people through forest panchayats. The possibilities of eco tourism must be further enhanced. There are strong potentials in the state towards aromatic farming. For this, local people should be encouraged to engage in aromatic farming. Efforts should be made to revive rivers and streams in a scientific manner. People should also be made aware in the herbal sector.

Cabinet Minister Smt. Rekha Arya said that special attention has to be paid towards women empowerment and youth empowerment to make Uttarakhand a leading state by Many efforts are being made by the state government towards women empowerment. Continuous efforts are being made to connect youth with employment and self-employment.

Cabinet Minister Chandan Ram Das said that today we are moving forward in the fields of electricity, water, education and health. In 03 years, the transport department in the state has increased revenue by 35 per cent. Works under MSME are being done in the state at a fast pace. We have to accelerate the promotion of small scale industries in the mountainous areas.

Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna said that special efforts are being made in the state especially in the hilly districts to increase the livelihood of the people in the field of fisheries. This is a good sector to increase the income of farmers. We need innovative marketing in the field of fish production. The Northern Fish Project has been launched. Veterinary ambulances have been launched in the state. Dairy products have been promoted in the state. The state is working on the Goat Valley concept.
