During his two-day visit to the state, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held talks with talented students, sportsmen and NCC cadets from various schools in the state at the forest rest house at Pithoragarh on Sunday.

Welcoming the launch of mobile apps and portals of various departments, he said it was a big step towards good governance and digitalisation. He said that Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami’s policy of simplification, solution, disposal and satisfaction that this policy will increase the speed and efficiency of service works related to the people of the state.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the ongoing development works in the district with district level officials at Vikas Bhawan auditorium in Pithoragarh on Sunday and gave necessary guidelines to all concerned officials.

During the review of development works, the Chief Minister directed the officials to expedite all the construction works in progress in the district. The Chief Minister directed the officials of PMGSY and NH to expedite road construction and road widening works. He also directed the concerned officials to expedite the construction work of Sport College Lelu. He also directed the concerned officials to complete the construction work of District Prison Pithoragarh soon. He also directed the concerned agency to hand over Pandit Nain Singh Surveyor Mountaineering Training Center Munsyari to the concerned department and make proposal for the remaining works to the officer of the. He directed all the concerned officials of the contracting agency to initiate the handover of the construction works that have been completed.

 

During the meeting, the Chief Minister asked the officials to improve the progress of development works in the Janapad, therefore all concerned officers should understand their responsibilities and complete the development works soon so that the people of the Janapad could take advantage of those development schemes. He said that the construction works started several years ago have not been completed yet which is a matter of concern. He said that the money, whether it belongs to the state government or the central government, should be used in a planned manner so that the people could benefit from it in a timely manner. He said that the Prime Minister of the country is serious about the development of the border districts of the country, therefore all officials should develop the border district of Pithoragarh as an ideal district.

BJP media team paid courtesy call on the Chief Minister
