Additional Director General of Police Amit Sinha had a courtesy call on Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd) at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. The Governor congratulated her for winning the gold medal in the All India Masters Classic Power Lifting Championship.
The Governor said that it is praiseworthy to win gold medal in power lifting while discharging the challenging responsibility of Additional Director General of Police. He described this achievement as a source of inspiration for the youth as well.
Sinha recently won the gold medal in the All India Masters Classic Powerlifting Championship (120 kg weight category) held at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He has also been selected for the World Championship to be held in Mongolia.
