Army Zonal Recruiting Officer Major General N.S. Rajpurohit met. He made a detailed presentation before the Governor regarding the recruitments to be held in the state in the month of August and September under the Agneepath scheme.

Governor said that it is a matter of pride for Uttarakhand that the recruitment process for Agneepath scheme is starting from here. There will be a different enthusiasm among the youth here for the recruitment rally. He said that this recruitment rally would be an opportunity for the youth of Uttarakhand. The Governor also appealed to more and more youth to participate in the rally and become part of the opportunity of service to the country. Governor Major General N.S. Assured Rajpurohit that all possible cooperation would be given in the recruitment process. He asked the concerned departmental officers to coordinate with the concerned departmental officers so that the youth of the state do not face any problem in joining the recruitment process.

Major General N.S. Rajpurohit informed that the recruitment process of Agniveers is starting in Uttarakhand in the month of August and September, for which the online registration process has been started through Army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Recruitment rally for all the districts of Garhwal region will be held from 19th August, 2022 to 31st August, 2022 at Kotdwar. Similarly, the recruitment rally for Almora, Bageshwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar in Kumaon region will be held from August 20, 2022 to August 31, 2022 at Ranikhet. For Champawat and Pithoragarh districts, a recruitment rally will be organized from 05 September 2022 to 12 September 2022 in Pithoragarh. He said that a meeting has also been held with the government and district officials regarding the recruitment rally. Everyone has assured all possible cooperation in making this recruitment rally a success. During this, Additional Secretary, Governor Swati S. Bhadauria, Colonel Munish Sharma etc. were present.
