Dehradun: A total of 619 questions were received in the third session of the fifth assembly, of which 44 were poorly informed questions and 575 were starred/unstarred questions. 13 underinformed questions were accepted. One of those questions was answered. Similarly, 171 starred questions were accepted out of which 33 questions were answered. 120 out of 375 unstarred questions were answered.
The Uttarakhand (Uttar Pradesh Land Revenue Act 1901) (Amendment) Ordinance 2022 was tabled in the House. Also, a total of 14 bills were passed in this session including the Uttarakhand Appropriation Bill.
The main feature of this session is that the Uttarakhand Public Service (Horizontal Reservation for Women) Bill 2022 was passed unanimously. This is a matter of great joy and pride for all the women of the state.
Six bills were introduced in this session. Two bills were withdrawn by the government in this session, one of which is the Uttarakhand Panchayati Raj (Second) Amendment Bill 2021 and the Factories (Uttarakhand Amendment) Bill
In the third session of the fifth assembly, the government tabled 10 reports.
A total of 30 notices of Rule 300 were received in this session out of which 26 were sanctioned Similarly a total of 22 notices of 53 were received of which 2 were sanctioned for statement and 2 for statement only and other 13 notices Govt sent to the attention of. 13 notices of Rule 58 were received out of which 6 were heard on admissibility 2 notices were referred for the attention of the Government. Similarly, a total of 2 notices of Rule 310 were received which were heard on admissibility in Rule
The proceedings of the House lasted a total of 13 hours and 47 minutes in the two-day session. Finally, the House was adjourned indefinitely after the National Anthem.
