Dehradun | BJP state president Madan Kaushik, while reacting to the manifesto issued by the Congress, said that the credibility of the Congress is zero and the public as well as the Congress itself is well aware of it, that is why he is now making false promises in his manifesto. He said that his senior leader Priyanka Gandhi, who released this manifesto, should be the first to tell what happened to her promise to give 40 percent women tickets, while those who were given tickets, two women’s tickets were cut.

During a press conference at the Party Media Center on Haridwar Road, the state president alleged that the Congress manifesto is a bundle of lies. Because contrary to the promises Congress party is making, the picture is clearly visible in their ticket distribution. Priyanka Gandhi said that I can fight a girl and promised to give tickets to 40 percent women, but surprisingly, Barkharani who is a Dalit woman and Sandhya Dalakoti who has matured in politics and has also been a block chief, despite this. Even after giving the ticket, the ticket was disconnected. Madan Kaushik said that the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh comes to Uttarakhand and talks about giving gas of Rs 500, but in Chhattisgarh gas cylinders worth Rs 1000 are being sold. Apart from this, the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan comes to Uttarakhand and talks about unemployment, but Rajasthan is many times ahead of Uttarakhand in terms of inflation and unemployment. There the unemployment rate is 203 percent and in Uttarakhand it is 5.6. Here the size talks about inflation and does not even mention the high prices of all essential goods from petrol diesel in their ruled states. Talking about petrol itself, in Rajasthan it is Rs 101 per liter while in Uttarakhand it is Rs 93 per liter.

Congress is raising the issue of slums, so first they should tell what they have done on this subject in their government, whereas BJP has done the work of saving the slums by bringing ordinance when the matter is referred to the High Court. We talk about Gairsen and do nothing on our own. The Congress party, which talks about Muslim university, appeasement, Friday holiday, is now pretending to be Uttarakhandiyat. It would have been better if the Congress would have told where the revenue for these schemes would come from before announcing the fake scheme. Let’s talk about super specialty hospital and did nothing for the establishment of AIIMS Rishikesh. Our government has done the work of setting up satellite branch and medical college of AIIMS Rishikesh and now AIIMS.

Madan Kaushik said that the BJP double engine government has drawn a long line of development in the state, in view of which the Congress has accepted its defeat. They know that their government is not going to come, so they are now making air promises. He assured that the BJP-Uttarakhand would be a safe, well-organized, developed state in the form of a tourism hub giving employment to the unemployed.

During this, while answering the questions asked by the journalists, he said that our government has already formed a committee for the land law that Congress is promising. If we talk about resuming pension, then BJP is determined to restore the pension of government employees, for which it is making efforts under the prescribed process. Responding to him, he said that the BJP fulfills the promises it makes, so after thorough deliberation, the party will bring its vision paper in front of the public in a day or two. In the press conference, along with the state president, state spokesperson Suresh Joshi, state media in-charge Manveer Chauhan, Anil Goyal, Balraj Pasi, Shadab Shams, Harish Chamoli, Ajit Negi and many other party officials were present.
