During the meeting, Mr. Agrawal expressed displeasure over the lack of cleanliness in Piran Kaliyar Municipality area during night time. Garbage lifting should be done in the night time so that people can see the city clearly the next day.
In a stern tone, while directing the municipal commissioners of all municipal corporations, municipal councils and executive officers of Nagar Panchayat, he said that despite spraying medicines, the officials of the civic body would be responsible for spreading diseases like dengue. Said that the amount of medicine should be sufficient in spraying. Shri Agrawal asked all the officers to clean the drains before monsoon.
Aggarwal ji said that June is the right time to destroy its larvae to get rid of diseases like dengue, because if the larvae are not destroyed then mosquitoes will be born and the situation will go out of control. For this, he sent door-to-door teams and instructed them to destroy the larvae. Shri Aggarwal ji said that such private events like marriage, birthday festival etc., where cleaning is done by the body, minimum charge should also be charged from them, so that the revenue can increase.
