Senior journalist Jitendra Athanwal stepped into journalism on 29 September 1993. He started journalism with Doon Darpan. After which Himalaya Darpan, Eream News (Uttarakhand’s first TV news broadcast through cable network), Dainik Jagran, Valley Mail, Amar Ujala (about 14 years), News Plus Group, DD via Dehradun now in Punjab Kesari / Navodaya Times This journey continues. Senior journalist Jitendra Athanwal covered the entire Uttarakhand movement from beginning to end and participated directly and sometimes indirectly in the movement along with journalism. For the first time in 2005, as the Press Club General Secretary, he led the biggest and longest movement of journalists that lasted for 12 days in protest against the Secretariat scandal in the capital. Developed a model of journalists and public participation in the war against Kovid in 2020 and 21 and conducted a campaign named ‘Milkar Ladhenge Ye Jung’.
Senior journalist Vikas Gusain is working in Dainik Jagran
Senior Journalist Vikas Gusain has been doing journalism for more than 18 years. He started his journalism with Himachal Times. After which he joined the national newspaper Dainik Jagran. Today he has completed 17 years of joining Dainik Jagran. Senior journalist Vikas Gusain raised the issues related to public interest prominently through his sharp writing. Along with this, through his news, he worked to expose the hidden corruption, scams and scams in the system.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Charuchandra Chandola Smriti Samiti does remarkable work in journalists and society. Charuchandra Chandola was a Khanty journalist and litterateur from Uttarakhand. He made his journalism debut with The Times of India in Mumbai in 1958 and was associated with Yugvani for about 50 years thereafter. He worked in many leading newspapers and magazines including Amar Ujala, Aaj. He wrote many poetry collections and stories.
