Haridwar, echo of mountains, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the tribute ceremony organized on the occasion of the 19th death anniversary of Brahmalin Shri Devendraswaroop Brahmachariji Maharaj at Shri Jairam Ashram Bhimgowda and paid tribute to him. On this occasion, Mr. Brahmaswaroop Brahmachari presented a check of Rs. five lakh 11 thousand to the Chief Minister for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while saluting Brahmalin Pujyapad Gurudev Shri Devendraswaroop Brahmachari Ji Maharaj said that he is an inspiration for all of us. He dedicated his whole life for the society and the country and the only principle of his life was charity and lifestyle of affection and intimacy.

The Chief Minister said that saints provide education and vision to the society not only through their work but also through their conduct and the life of saints is for charity. Saints themselves have considered it their religion to provide happiness to the society by taking the sorrows of others. He said that the entire life of Guru Shri Jairam Ji Maharaj to Gurudev Shri Devendraswaroop Brahmachari Ji was devoted to public welfare and social service.

The Chief Minister described Jairam Ashram as a public service and dedicated institution. In the field of education, he said that the work of that institution cannot be explained in words, in the name of which the base words of Indian culture like “Jai” and “Ram” are combined. He said that despite having very limited resources, Jairam Ashram has presented unique examples in the field of public service.

Describing Shri Brahmswaroop Brahmachari as a dedicated service worker to fulfill the resolutions of his Gurudev, the Chief Minister said that the works being done by him in the field of education, medicine, cow service, spread of Sanskrit and public service, They are role models for the society.

Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the efficient leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, continuous work is being done to take forward the original form of Uttarakhand. He said that Ganga corridor will be built in Rishikesh, Haridwar, for which DPR is being prepared.

The Chief Minister said that Yamuna ghats will also be developed on the lines of Ganga ghats. The foundation stone of bathing ghat and Haripur ghat on the banks of Yamuna has been laid in Kalsi on Thursday, this will increase the employment opportunities along with the development of Haripur. He said that every year the number of devotees and tourists in Uttarakhand is continuously increasing, in view of this, development of infrastructure facilities is our top priority. He said that work is going on at a fast pace on Kedarnath and Hemkund ropeways.

Referring to the Manas Khand Mandir Mala Mission, the Chief Minister said that under this, 16 temples have been taken up in the first phase and like the Chardham Yatra, continuous efforts are being made to increase tourism under the Mandir Mala Mission, which will attract tourists from India and abroad. Along with becoming familiar with this, we will also take away good experience from Devbhoomi and this will also increase employment opportunities in this field.

In view of Brahmalin Parampujya Gurudev Shri Devendraswaroop Brahmachariji Maharaj’s passion for social service, the people of Rishikesh gave him the responsibility of Municipal President in the year 1968 for the development of the pilgrimage city, for the pilgrims and tourists coming from abroad. Exemplary programs were organized to attract people.
